Your 5000CT or 5080CTC C-Bus touch screen is officially discontinued. Clipsal no longer makes parts or provides support. We upgrade your system using the 5500AC2 Wiser Application Controller — giving you a full custom web interface on any iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, or wall-mounted screen. Your existing C-Bus wiring stays untouched.
The Clipsal 5500AC2 Wiser for C-Bus Application Controller is a DIN-rail mounted device that plugs into your existing C-Bus switchboard. It hosts a fully custom web-based lighting visualisation interface — floor plans, room controls, dimmer sliders, scenes, and schedules — served directly to any device on your network.
You then wall-mount an iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab using the existing cable run from your old 5000CT panel. The existing wall power is reused to charge the tablet. The result is a premium, modern, fully customised touch panel at a fraction of the cost of proprietary hardware.

The professional-grade C-Bus controller that makes iPad control possible.
Hosts a fully custom web visualisation directly — floor plans, room grids, scene buttons, dimmer sliders. Accessible in any browser on iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, iPhone, or laptop. No proprietary apps required.
Connects directly to your existing C-Bus network via the onboard CNI (Ethernet gateway). Your existing relays, dimmers, keypads, and sensors all continue to work exactly as before. Zero rewiring.
Native support for Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. Control lighting with Siri, set location-based automations, and run scenes from any Apple device — in addition to the tablet wall panel.
Access your full lighting interface from anywhere in the world — holiday, office, or airport. No VPN required. Secure cloud connectivity via the C-Bus Manager app (firmware V2.1.0+).
Powered by a Lua-based logic engine. Complex automations, time-based schedules, sunrise/sunset triggers, and conditional logic — all programmed without proprietary hardware panels.
Supports up to 4,000 network objects — ample for large residential properties and commercial suites. Modbus (10 devices) and BACnet IP (50 point server) for broader building integration.
Why the upgrade pays for itself within 12 months.

We inspect your existing C-Bus network, identify your current hardware (5000CT, 5080CTC, SC5000CTL2, or C-5000CTDL2), assess the switchboard, and confirm the cable runs to your existing wall panels. We provide a fixed-price quote on the spot.
We install the 5500AC2 Wiser Application Controller on your DIN rail. We connect it to your C-Bus network and configure it with your existing group addresses, scenes, and schedules. All current programming is preserved.
We design your custom web visualisation — your floor plan, labelled room controls, dimmer sliders, scene buttons (Evening, Movie, Away, Morning), and schedule views. The interface is designed to match your home layout and how you actually use your lighting.
We remove your old 5000CT panel and repurpose the existing wall power to a modern flush-mount tablet cradle (iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab). The result is a clean, professional wall panel — often in exactly the same wall location as your old screen.
We configure Apple HomeKit integration, Google Home, and remote cloud access so you can control your lighting from anywhere. We also set up the C-Bus Manager app on your phone for off-site control.
We walk you through every feature, hand over all credentials, and provide 12-month programming warranty on all our work. If you ever need a scene added, a schedule changed, or a new room added — a single phone call sorts it.
The 5500AC2 serves a standard web interface — any modern tablet or browser works. Here's what we recommend.
iPad 10th Gen or iPad Pro. Wall-mount using a Crestron or Heckler Design flush-mount cradle. Doubles as an Apple HomeKit hub — no separate HomePod needed. Retina display looks stunning. Supports C-Bus Manager app natively.
Galaxy Tab S9 or Tab A9. Excellent AMOLED display. Works perfectly with the 5500AC2 web interface in full-screen Chrome. USB-C charging means flush wall installation is clean and simple. Google Home native integration.
For commercial applications, we can install a purpose-built wall-mount Android touch display (10" or 15") — permanently fixed, auto-boot to the 5500AC2 web interface, PoE-powered from your switchboard. Zero consumer device management.
We handle the full upgrade — 5500AC2 installation, custom interface design, iPad wall mount, HomeKit setup, and handover. Based in Menai, Sydney-wide service.
Fixed-price quotes. 12-month programming warranty. Sydney-wide coverage.
